    06/03/2024GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, TEAM Committee members are responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
    1. Attend district TEAM Coordinating Committee meetings (approximately 4 afterschool meetings) during the school year.
    2. Support TEAM teachers and mentors during the annual TEAM process by answering questions, following up with the TEAM module process and offering assistance as needed; familiarity with edTPA.
    3. Participate in the interview process of potential TEAM mentors.
    4. Plan and participate in activities throughout the school year that support the TEAM process: New Teacher Orientation, TEAM module training, annual TEAM recognition event.
    5. Participate in writing an updated TEAM District Support Plan.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Connecticut Provisional or Professional Certification
    • TEAM Mentor/Cooperating Teacher trained
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience as classroom teacher
    • Evidence of school district leadership and the ability to communicate in a fair and equitable manner with teachers and mentors.
    • Familiarity with the TEAM website, TEAM materials, and the TEAM support plan.
    • High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity.
    COMPENSATION

    An annual payment of $350.00 will be paid to each TEAM Committee member.
