- Attend district TEAM Coordinating Committee meetings (approximately 4 afterschool meetings) during the school year.
- Support TEAM teachers and mentors during the annual TEAM process by answering questions, following up with the TEAM module process and offering assistance as needed; familiarity with edTPA.
- Participate in the interview process of potential TEAM mentors.
- Plan and participate in activities throughout the school year that support the TEAM process: New Teacher Orientation, TEAM module training, annual TEAM recognition event.
- Participate in writing an updated TEAM District Support Plan.
- Connecticut Provisional or Professional Certification
- TEAM Mentor/Cooperating Teacher trained
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as classroom teacher
- Evidence of school district leadership and the ability to communicate in a fair and equitable manner with teachers and mentors.
- Familiarity with the TEAM website, TEAM materials, and the TEAM support plan.
- High standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity.
