    Position is fulltime, Night shift

    How youll serve our patients


    The National Float Nurse provides coordinated medical and clinical nursing care and judgement to meet the needs of each assigned patient within ERC Pathlights treatment standards.

    The RN will partner with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu for all of our patients.


    This position will be required to float to other sites (including those outside of Colorado), if needed, based on patient volumes and staffing needs.


    • Teammate will be required to float to the various ERC Pathlight locations throughout Denver Region.
    • Teammate may be required to float to Denver Health ACUTE.
    • Teammate may be required to travel overnight or for an extended stay at ERC Pathlight locations outside of the Denver Region Variable work schedule to include covering day, mid and night shifts.
    • Required to work weekends and holidays.
    • Shifts will be 10hr or 12hr or a combination of both in a scheduled pay period. 10hr shift hours are
    • Multistate compact registered nurse licensure required.


    As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

    Demonstrates performance consistent with the Medical Center Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan of the organization.

    Remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats co-workers, patients, families, and all members of the health care team with dignity and respect.


    Must haves:

    • Bachelors degree Required
    • Multistate compact registered nurse licensure required
    • Basic Life Support required
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing required

    Bonus Qualities:

    • 1+ years working with patients in the mental health field preferred
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred

    Base compensation for the National Float Registered Nurse role ranges from $ Increased ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
