ROLE OVERVIEW:

Freshwater Design Co. Studio & Shop is a unique space where it joins together a production workspace and retail storefront. The Retail Shop Associate is responsible for assisting customers as they shop within our Retail Shop.

Their duties include greeting customers, answering questions related to Freshwater & our leather goods and acrylic accessories, managing inventory, accepting merchandise, cleaning and opening/closing the Shop.

We are looking for someone with a bright & bubbly personality who genuinely loves people and being a positive part of someone's day TIME:

15 +/- hours a week


DUTIES:

• Greet customers warmly and offer them assistance
• Recommend merchandise based on customers' wants and needs
• In charge of accepting all packages
• Input into POS system, create labels and tag all in-coming inventory
• Add up customers' total purchases and accept payment
• Inform customers about current sales, promotions, and policies about payments and exchanges
• Keep front desk and storefront clean and tidy - includes dusting, sweeping, watering plants, etc.
• Restock product on the floor
• Perform all opening & closing duties
• Assist with visual merchandising
• Assist production team with production tasks upon request.

Qualifications:


MUST HAVES:

• Experience in retail is preferred.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Genuinely a people person with a positive attitude
• Looking for a bright, bubbly personality that is excited about working with Freshwater
• Communication skills to effectively engage with customers
• Prioritize keeping the storefront clean and organized.
