    Description

    Seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to enhance our innovative team. Focus on Siemens PLC systems, automation process efficiency, and system start-ups. A robust understanding of electrical schematics and European standards is essential. Excellent benefits including relocation assistance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design and Optimize Automation Systems
      • Develop and optimize automation and control systems for efficiency and scalability.
      • Integrate systems to ensure cohesive operation across different platforms.
    2. Program and Maintain PLC and HMI
      • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens PLCs (Simatic S and HMIs (WinCC).
      • Implement system upgrades to enhance efficiency and safety.
    3. Lead Engineering Projects
      • Manage projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
      • Coordinate installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
    4. Maintain and Troubleshoot Systems
      • Conduct regular diagnostics and maintenance to minimize system downtime.
      • Resolve system malfunctions and interruptions swiftly.
    5. Develop and Conduct Training
      • Create and deliver training sessions on Siemens systems and technological advancements.
      • Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and standards.
    6. Ensure Compliance and Safety
      • Maintain compliance with international standards and local regulations.
      • Implement safety enhancements in control system operations.
    7. Document and Report
      • Keep accurate records of system configurations and modifications.
      • Prepare detailed reports on system performance for stakeholders.


    Requirements

    1. Siemens PLC Expertise
      • Extensive experience with Siemens Simatic S7-1500 PLCs; proficient in programming and troubleshooting.
    2. Variable Frequency Drives Proficiency
      • Hands-on experience with VFDs such as Sinamics, SEW, and Lenze; skilled in configuration and operational integration.
    3. Electrical Engineering Acumen
      • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and European standards; capable of applying them in engineering projects.
    4. Automation and Robotics Integration
      • Experienced in enhancing manufacturing processes through the integration of robotics.
    5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
      • Advanced analytical skills, capable of addressing complex engineering challenges.
    6. Communication and Leadership
      • Excellent communication skills, able to lead teams and manage cross-departmental collaborations.
    7. Commitment to Continuous Improvement
      • Proactively seeks out and adopts new technologies and methods to improve system performance.
