    Our client in Hunts Point is looking for a Production & QC Senior Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of production efficiency and quality control from the raw material selection to the final product delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food technology, production management, and quality assurance protocols within the food industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the production department, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and productivity goals.
    • Implement and monitor quality control standards, procedures, and specifications to meet food safety requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure high-quality raw materials selection and evaluate supplier performance.
    • Lead the quality assurance team in conducting regular product and process audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
    • Develop and maintain production schedules in alignment with inventory needs and demand forecasting.
    • Coordinate with the R&D department to scale up new products from development to commercial production, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
    • Train and mentor production and quality control staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
    • Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in food technology, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management and quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry.
    • Strong knowledge of HACCP, FDA, and other food safety standards and regulations.
    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
