    Summary
    The Mental Health Worker is a member of a multidisciplinary team. The Mental Health Worker serves as co-team leader and is responsible for providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. This position is required to work hours that coincide with client schedules, including day, evening, and/or weekend hours.
    We are hiring Mental Health Worker

    We offer a $2,000 stay on bonus

    - $600 dollars after 3 months

    - $600 dollars after 6 months

    - $800 dollars after one year

    The Position: The Mental Health Worker is a member of a multidisciplinary team. The Mental Health Worker serves as co-team leader and is responsible for providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. This position is required to work hours that coincide with client schedules, including day, evening, and/or weekend hours.
    • Pay rate: $18.00 starting rate
      • 3 years paid training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy Model through the Philadelphia Child and Guidance Center (eligibility for state certification upon successful completion of training)
    • Bonus: $2,000 stay on bonus
    • Schedule: we are hiring for [shift/schedule/list].
    Position Requirements:

    Required Education/Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, or anthropology or any bachelor's degree in human services; OR
    • Have 12 college level semester hours in humanities or social services and be enrolled for certification by; OR
    • Registered Nurse and be enrolled for certification by OMH, the Pennsylvania Certification Board as a mental health family-based worker.
    • 3 years paid training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy Model through the Philadelphia Child and Guidance Center (eligibility for state certification upon successful completion of training)
    Work Experience:
    • Minimum of one years' experience in a CASSP System Program.
    Required Licenses/Certifications
    • Valid driver's license
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide team (60%) and individually (40%) delivered therapy to children and their families in the home and/or the community.
    • Works collaboratively with lead therapist to assure all client and family treatment needs are met.
    • Utilize safe crisis prevention techniques as deemed appropriate.
    • Document treatment data/results that are clinically relevant on progress notes and submit in a timely manner (within 24 hours of each encounter).
    • Complete client intake paperwork per company/program guidelines and regulations
    • Complete recurrent assessments within the regulated timeframes
    • Assist the Mental Health Professional with development of a treatment plans and assuring they are being done timely in relation to regulated time frames.
    • Assist/participate in client psychiatric evaluations and medication checks.
    • Collaborate with other providers to secure appropriate aftercare/discharge services and community linkages supports during the course of treatment.
    • Create monthly meeting invitation letters and mail accordingly.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other miscellaneous meetings, as necessary.
    • Provide 24/7 crisis intervention support through an on-call rotation
    • Transport clients using personal vehicle as necessary (travel/mileage reimbursement)

    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    Required Competencies (Mental Health Worker-Family Based)

    • Prioritizing and Organizing Work- (Supported by Put First Things First) Allocates time and attention based on what is most important to achieve key goals and objectives. Effectively organizes and balances tasks and priorities to keep multiple projects on track.
      • Assists in maintains client schedules to assure we are meeting their needs and scheduling when they are available. Submitting electronic health records and time worked within expected time frames.
      • Attend mandated, group, individual and team supervision as scheduled.
      • Assists in maintaining an organized schedule to include team and individual service delivery in accordance with regulations.
      • Adhere to scheduled sessions and deliver appropriate authorized units of service prescribed.
    • Training/supervision - Has an authentic interpersonal style that engages others and encourages high performance in Attend trainings and conferences as directed by supervisor, in accordance with company policy, and pursuant to applicable regulations.
      • Attend required supervision sessions and staff meetings in accordance with program/company requirements.
      • Participated in 3-year Exosystemic Structural Family Therapy training program through Philadelphia Child and Family Training Center
    • Communicating Effectively (Supported by Seek First to Understand then to be Understood) -Share's information. Listens and involves others. Clearly Conveys ideas in a manner that engages others and helps them understand and retain the message. Communicates with other providers and coordinates care regularly with all individuals involved in treatment.
      • Adheres to HIPAA privacy regulations and Department of Human Services/CASSP principle guidelines.
      • Adheres to Mandated Reporter protocol and effectively communicates concerns with program management. Work collaboratively with members of the treatment team and other service providers to ensure comprehensive case management.
    • Displaying Creativity - (Supported by Synergize) - Uses creativity appropriately to drive progress and encourages others to do the same. Makes innovation a priority among team members.
      • Proactively plans for all session to promote an intentionally postured service approach.
      • Independently research creative and relevant interactive therapeutic interventions
    • Managing Stress- (Supported by Sharpening the Saw) Uses healthy and effective methods to manage stress (e.g., maintaining appropriate diet, exercise, and sleep schedules); reacts effectively when faced with high-pressure situations

      • Being available for 24/7 crisis support in coordination with partner.
      • Being available to transport client and/or families in the community, as necessary.
      • Be available to de-escalate/divert hospitalization and/or assist in facilitating a hospitalization if deemed medically necessary.
