    Description

    The Accounting Manager - Veterinary Practices will be a key member of our Client Accounting Services Team, assisting veterinary practice clients with their bookkeeping and accounting functions. This role offers professional growth and career opportunities through on-the-job training and ongoing coaching and mentoring.

    This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will work closely with R.D. Barnett CPAs to ensure client books and records are in tip-top-shape for tax returns. As a fully integrated member of the team, you will have client assignments within your first month of employment.

    We are seeking a highly responsible, trustworthy, and organized individual who is able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to remain one step ahead and anticipate potential problems.

    In this role, you will be responsible for all things accounting clean-up, including monthly transactional accounting, payroll preparation, and state and local revenue filings. You will also be expected to anticipate client needs and respond timely and professionally to client emails/calls.

    The successful candidate will have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, with expertise in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other software platforms. They will also have demonstrated experience with Federal, State, and Local taxation regulation and filings.

    We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $95,000, as well as a casual office environment, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits package.
