Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SharePoint Engineer to join a Government Consulting company located NEAR Ft
Meade, MD (not on base) through an onsite work environment (some hybrid available) supporting the SITE III A&P program, supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)
The SharePoint Engineer will conduct continuous maintenance and updates of multiple SharePoint sites includes streamlining the user experience, managing repositories and shared drives, and developing customized applications

Responsibilities of the SharePoint Engineer Include:

• Ongoing maintenance and regular updating of multiple SharePoint sites, with the aim of creating a more unified and user-friendly online environment.
• Consolidation of various sites to direct user attention more effectively and reduce the frequency of necessary updates.
• Organizing and managing repositories and shared drives.
• Development of customized applications, tailored to the specific needs of our community members, at the request of our customer leadership.
• Attend meetings and assist the customer with gathering requirements

Qualifications for SharePoint Engineer Include:

• Bachelors Degree or higher with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer
• Proficiency in trouble shooting complex data analytic systems
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance
• Exposure to DevOps, with strong Linux backend debugging skills
• Experience with Unix/Linux, Oracle, Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Shell Scripting, and ETL processes in a clustered environment
• Technical understanding of big data concepts and cloud technologies (AWS, Hadoop)
• Familiarity with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence concepts

Compensation for the SharePoint Engineer includes:

Salary Range:
$130,000- $200,000/ year
depending on experience

• Full benefits: Cigna Medical/ Dental/ Vision, 401K with match via ADP requirement, holidays, Paid Time Off (PTO), etc.
• Term: 4 years left on a 5 year contract- long term opportunity

Environment:
Some hybrid work options are available based on weekly workload
Candidates must be willing to work in a SCIF at Fort Meade (flexibility to work on site in Reston, VA)
