    Job Purpose
    We are looking to hire Senior Engineer, Piping.

    This job role is to ensure execute all Piping Engineering activities (Concept, Front End Engineering, Technical Study and Detail Design) for rig building and MRO projects.

    Key Accountabilities & Working Relationships

    Key Accountabilities:
    Activity planning, work scheduling and monitoring.

    Interdisciplinary checks & coordination.

    Guide in preparation of plot plans, equipment layouts, piping layouts and reviews.

    Guide and review design calculations and piping stress analysis.

    Preparation of design basis, project specific specifications for basic / detail engineering, feasibility studies and tender document.

    Material Engineering which includes preparation of purchase specifications, purchase requisitions, technical bid analysis, Supplier document / drawing evaluation.

    Construction engineering activities including MTO's, shop drawings and job package preparation & issue.

    Site survey for jobs & bids.

    Coordination with Internal Departments, Customer & Inspection Agencies.

    Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures.

    Progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.

    Capture all changes / modifications in the deliverables that has been intimated by project, prior to release of deliverable.

    Attending project review meetings.


    Review of bid enquiry documents and clarifications / qualifications, estimation activities like MTO, Engineering deliverable list and Engineering man-hour estimates.

    Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures as applicable.

    Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.


    Working Relationships:

    Internal Interactions:
    Internal Engineering Department, other business work-streams within the company, Division Head – Piping & Process


    External Interactions:
    Customers, Supplier, Subcontractors, Consultants, Inspection Agencies.

    Who we are looking for

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.


    Experience:
    At least 9-15 years' experience in engineering design department of any offshore rig building or ship building industry.

    Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations):

    Preferred – Any additional certification / courses in Mechanical/Piping Engineering.

    Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

    Sound knowledge of international piping codes & standards, maritime regulations, and class rules.

    Design knowledge/experience in pipe sizing / calculations in marine industry.

    Exposure to AutoCAD & 3D design tools like AVEVA.

    Exposure to piping engineering related software such as pipe flow, PIPENET, CAESAR, etc.

    Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment.

    Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others with regards to continuous improvement.

    Good presentation skills.
