    Description
    Systems Engineer II

    Location:
    Englewood, CO (3 days in office, two days remote)

    Contract Duration:

    12 month contract with high likelihood for extension or conversion

    Pay Rate:
    $35-$40/hour


    Overview:


    The Lab Engineering team is looking to bring on a System Engineer to ensure the lab environment is set up properly for the IT Video teams to be able to successfully test end to end.

    This individual will take tickets from the IT video team and will get the equipment set up that is needed.

    Will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues with the equipment and will triage and security concerns on the equipment.

    Skill Set
    1+ years of experience with Linux systems administration
    Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues from JIRA tickets
    Understanding of how to mitigate common vulnerabilities on equipment
    Strong attitude and aptitude to learn how to triage different types of issues across multiple types of equipment
    Any experience working with video systems or RF would be a huge plus

    Responsibilities
    Responsible for handling tickets that come to the lab from the IT video team
    Will take requests from the video team and ensure all equipment is set up and working for the video team to be able to test end to end
    Mitigate any security concerns or common vulnerabilities that come through on the video servers
    Working with a lot of head end controllers, set top boxes, encryptors and other video equipment
    Document and provide and detailed overview of fixes for specific tickets to be used in the future

    Interview Process :
    One 30 minute Webex interview and then an onsite interview with the team
