    Description

    Description:

    A typical day would include raw material testing, finished product testing, wet chemistry, physical testing, and verifying samples from incoming trucks. Trucks come into the facility between 5:30 am and 4 pm, candidates will be expected to pull anywhere from 25-40 samples off the trucks daily. They will spend most of their time in the lab performing tests, with about 10% of the role consisting of getting samples from the trucks, and cleaning equipment in the lab. Candidates are expected to clean dishes and equipment whenever necessary.

    On a typical day, they will complete the following wet chem tests in their first 3 months:

    -pH

    -titrations

    -viscosity

    -density testing

    -boiling point

    -water content

    -purity testing

    -mixing

    After a few months, the candidate can expect to be trained to test products using IC, ICP, GC, and FTIR as equipment becomes available.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    MUST HAVES:

    Chemistry or Biology with Chem Minor Degree from a 4-year institution

    6+ months experience in a lab doing pH and titrations - either in school or in a professional setting

    Work well with a team in a fast-paced
