Job Description Summary:
To instruct students based on the standards provided by ARC / STSA . Visit clinical sites to evaluate students. Assist the Program Director as needed either in the classroom or in the clinical setting.


Essential Duties :
Under the direction of the Program Director, the clinical instructor will:1. Ensure students meet required clinical case requirements for graduation per accreditation standards2. Evaluate students in the clinical setting3. Disseminate, monitor, and collect student documentation required for clinical externships4. Attends participates in meetings and committees as required5. Maintain CST credential at all times6. Function as a member of the team in a proactive, ethical, respectful, and responsible manner7. Practice strong interpersonal communication8.

Ensure students demonstrate safe patient careMinimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Organizational skills a must.
Computer skills a must.
Proficient in day to day surgical technology duties.


Preferred Qualifications:
Applicant must have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the operating room.
