Employee is required to direct administer record care given residents.
+ Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.+ Responsibilities include communicating with family members regarding progress of resident assists physician with rounds as needed draws blood obtains fluids submits lab work ordered monitors records all progress of residents communicates with physician assists passing meal trays feeding as needed monitor work other nursing staff ensure thoroughness use telephone communicate physicians families arrange appointments needed make rounds ensure cleanliness proper care residents coordinate care residents unit manage nursing staff assign personnel according policy outlined by nursing services consult DON informed problems staffing needs prepares administers medications treatments according physician orders facility policies procedures receives records carries out physician orders accordance facility policies procedures charts daily nurses notes unusual occurrences acute episodes related resident care writes follow-up notes shift 24 hours following resolution problem responsible assuring accurate administration recording narcotics assures drugs covered Controlled Substance Act verifiable inventory+ Physical Demands: While performing duties this job employee frequently stand walk hands finger handle feel reach hands arms stoop kneel crouch talk hear sitting documenting information medical records occasionally lift move pounds specific vision abilities close peripheral vision.
