Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Hospital Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and patients, respond to security-related concerns, and document observations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.

Conduct regular and random patrols of clinical areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter routes as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and/or contacting appropriate medical staff and/or emergency services when needed.

Monitor entrances, corridors, and common areas for unusual activity and/or policy concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Complete security-related reports and activity logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and/or support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

This post is in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.

This post is in a hospital environment with a morgue.

This post requires restraining individuals.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
