- BS in Electrical Engineering and PE License.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design for manufacturing and industrial clients.
- Experience in designing power, lighting, grounding and lightning protection, alarm systems, control systems for building equipment, communications, access controls and security systems.
- Knowledge of large power transformers, power generation, transmission, operation and maintenance of power system distribution systems (110vac to 138kvac), harmonic analysis, cable and buss capacity analysis, load flow analysis.
- Experience with power system analysis software such as SKM Powertools or ETAP.
- Familiarity with national safety electrical codes and standards.
- Prior experience working directly with clients on scope & specification development.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- LEED accreditation.
- Comfortable working with coding and automation.
- Design automation skills including the application of parametric design tools such as Dynamo and Grasshopper.
- Software coding skills - Python or C# would be advantageous.
- Experience working with Revits API; Power BI for data visualization.
- Lead the electrical design process for facility and infrastructure projects within the manufacturing & industrial sectors.
- Conduct harmonic analysis, cable and buss capacity analysis, load flow analysis etc. using software tools like SKM Powertools or ETAP.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop project scopes & specifications.
- Manage teams effectively to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain compliance with national safety electrical codes throughout all projects.
