    Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul product lines for a customer located in Sarasota/Bradenton.

    This person will be responsible for advising, directing, and training MRO personnel in repair station techniques, execute duties on behalf of the repair station for avionics and aerospace accessories.

    Duties include designing, developing and modifying test equipment for various aircraft components for aircrafts specific to customer and FAA qualifications and regulations.

    . 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, repair station or test environment under CFR14 part 145 Experience designing CFR parts in CAD or 3D modeling/drafting software. Experience with Configuration Control and PLM Systems Experience working in LabView, PLC and other general data collection methods. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or a related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution. Familiarity with one or more 14 CFR parts 21, 24, 43, 121 and 145
