    Location 100% Remote

    Duration 12+ Months of Contract

    Job description:
    We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Device Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring, maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, as well as proficiency with handheld devices, printers, and command line editing.
    Responsibilities:
    Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, configuration, and compatibility issues with equipment.
    Maintain and calibrate printers used for labeling and documentation purposes.
    Provide training and support to equipment operators on proper usage and maintenance procedures.
    Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely completion of work orders and minimize equipment downtime.
    Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prolong equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected failures.
    Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in material handling devices and related technologies.
    Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks in a distribution center environment.
    Requirements:
    Proven experience as a material handling device technician or a similar role.
    Proficiency with handheld devices and android operating systems (scanners etc)
    Familiarity with printer configuration and their maintenance procedures.
    Strong understanding of command line editing for troubleshooting and configuration purposes.
    Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to customer sites for installations and/or repairs.
    High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
