    About the role:


    The candidate will support the inventory team in achieving and maintaining accurate inventory levels, including transaction recording, analysis of variances, development of reconciliations, and reporting.

    Qualified candidate will be a critical thinker who can identify issues, propose solutions, and see them through to resolution. The ability to respond to continuous change and challenges within a fast-paced environment is essential.


    Key responsibilities:


    Prepare daily reconciliations of inventory balances between Dyson and 3rd party warehousesIdentify and solve all reconciliation issues, analyzing third party warehouse management systems and Dyson SAP activity; find the root cause and implement corrective action where neededProcess and troubleshoot EDI-enabled and manual inventory transactions in SAPDevelop and enhance departmental reporting, trend analysis, and dashboardsIdentify opportunities to automate or streamline processes and see through to implementationSupport the month end close process by completing various inventory reports and analysesAttend and participate in the annual physical inventory counts, assisting the Inventory Control Manager in analyzing results and providing feedback for operations improvementContinuously challenge the way we report various inventory information and identify opportunities for improvementDrive effective business partnerships to support internal processes:Build and maintain a strong relationship with the third party warehouses, including establishing or refining processes with them to drive improvement in inventory reconciliation and reportingDevelop and recommend improvements to current operating procedures, including identification of cross functional opportunitiesFulfill other duties as necessary:Be detail oriented, demonstrating the importance of transactional accuracyBe an analytical & critical thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive sustainabilityBe agile; maintain a "one-team" attitude to pivot and help where necessaryBe adaptable and relish the opportunity to pick up new activities, special projects, and ad hoc analyses that fall broadly in the purpose of the roleAbout you:Bachelor's degree required: Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Accounting major preferred4+ years' experience in a supply chain role required, consumer goods organization experience preferredSAP experience strongly preferredPrior experience working with third party logistics providers (3PLs) strongly preferredPrior experience in month end close strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of Supply Chain processes and systemsProven experience analyzing and resolving inventory related issuesAdvanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to dissect large amounts of dataStrong written and oral communication skillsHigh level of aptitude for business math, numerical reasoning, and creative problem solvingStrong knowledge of the end-to-end product flow inside a warehouseAdaptable/flexible - able to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectivelyStrong attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrate follow-through capabilitiesSense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlinesSelf motivated with the ability to work independentlyTeam playerAbility to deliver projects in full, on time and to the highest qualityBenefits:At Dyson, how we reward you is linked to our high-performance culture.
