    Test Engineers (Colorado Springs, CO)


    to support development and fielding of Defensive Cyber Operations capabilities for the US Space Force utilizing DevSecOps environments and lean agile practices in order to establish enterprise level safeguards such as computer and network systems security and cyber situational awareness, damage assessment and recovery, cyber threat recognition, attribution, and mitigation, and active response methodologies across Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) in response to evolving threats and changes to cyber environment.

    The program's goal is to ensure delivery of critical infrastructure services and limit or contain the impact of a potential cybersecurity event and to protect the following mission sets: Protected Communications, Missile Warning, Military Strategic Communications (MILSATCOM), Position Navigation and Timing (PNT), Ballistic Missile Command and Control, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Nuclear Command Control and Communications (NC3), and Command and Control Satellite Operations (C2 Sat Ops).


    Salary Range:
    $100,000-$135,000
    Responsibilities

    Broad knowledge of a domain and a developing knowledge of additional skills related to the domain; applies standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.

    Works as part of a team under minimal supervision/instruction on routine work, and general instructions for new work; non-routine decisions, duties, and work may be reviewed by more senior staff; monitors own progress on assigned tasks and may train and mentor new members of a team.

    Develops documents/artifacts, with minimum peer/Sr level review. Solves a variety of problems, applying standard professional concepts and methodologies. Works on diverse problems requiring evaluation of identifiable factors with full use and application of established practices.
    Responsible for software verification and validation, including test planning, development, execution, analysis and associated documentation.
    Coordinate and organize testing efforts for multiple solutions across systems and software engineers.
    Support bug reporting and tracking and software test processes.
    Assist in the development of the test strategy in order to meet release deadlines.
    Adhere to established testing best practices using the latest build tools and testing frameworks.
    Work under general supervision and provide feedback on process improvements.
    Define test strategies, plans, procedures and reports to benefit our customers.
    Initiate and analyze bug reports and change requests.
    Requirements
    Bachelor's

    degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty.
    Secret

    security clearance (Top Secret preferred): U.S. Citizenship is

    required .
    3-7

    years' experience.

    Programming Languages:
    Java, JavaScript, HTML, & Python.
    Experience in at least 2 of the following

    Applications Frameworks:
    Eclipse, eFast, Fast, Swagger, Selenium or Postman.

    Familiarity & Knowledge:
    SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL.

    Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, program/project management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation.
