    As part of the National Rental Center team, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that standards for equipment cleanliness and functionally is met.

    Working on plastic fusion machines

    Electrical and hydraulic experience

    • Low voltage controls a plus
    • Ability to use Microsoft office, Excel Outlook and Teams.
    Follow procedures to ensure equipment is up to standards. Respond to maintenance requests within established timelines.

    • Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts.
    • Drive powered industrial trucks as required to perform duties (sit down).
    • Move equipment or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks or PIT.
    • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
    • Repair damaged equipment back to good working order by utilizing mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
    • Operate and maintain a wide variety of mechanical tools.
    • Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of equipment using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
    • Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
    • Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.
    • Utilize Microsoft programs to process equipment electronically.
    Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.

    • Ability to effectively operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    .

    • Demonstrate general mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
    • Knowledgeable in construction and building maintenance.
    • Will require some outdoor work, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.
    • Requires using a computer keyboard and mouse to create letters, memoranda, and reports.
