    Job DescriptionHomecare Homebase is seeking future leaders who are passionate about technology and are willing to take on new challenges.

    We are looking for talented students who are eager to begin a career in back-end development, mobile applications, QA, or IT.As a technology co-op, you will work side-by-side with other Software Engineers, Quality Analysts, and System Administrators to develop tools and techniques that utilize software development, quality assurance, and technical debugging skills.

    You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Java, C#, and more.

    Work on meaningful projects within Agile teams to design software updates for the HCHB proprietary software, test solutions writing queries and scripts, and deliver results to the HCHB customer base.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities for the Co-op position can vary, but could include: Working in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand customer and product requirements; design, code, and test innovative applications; and support those applications for our HCHB suite of customers.

    Work with a variety of relational databases, operating systems, and programming languages. Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Attend daily stand-up meetings to discuss team progress and dependencies. Troubleshoot and resolve technical software and hardware with internal and external users.


    Requirements:
    In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. Cumulative 3.0 GPA in good academic standing. Basic understanding of software development and programming in languages such as HTML, C#, C++, SQL Server, Java, or Python.

    Strong attention to detail and quality, troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills across all channels Availability to work 30-40 hours per week for a minimum of one semester.

    Demonstrated experience from coursework, previous work experience, personal projects, or similar.
