The Georgia Department of Public Health team protects lives and promotes healthy lifestyles in diverse communities statewide.We are committed to preventing disease injury and disability promoting health and well-being; preparing the State of Georgia for responding to disasters Job Responsibilities Analyze agency budgeting accounting reports ensure expenditure controls identify areas improvement Develop analyze policy- budget initiatives make recommendations based analysis Assess financial data determine resource requirements implementing programs analyzing trends Examine budget estimates accuracy completeness adherence procedures regulations Produce comprehensive analytical reports budgets financial statements expenditures Manage track grant funds ensuring compliance grant guidelines preparing related reports Collaborate with district staff external auditors successful audits address findings Review interpret develop policies procedures related budgeting finances Support preparation auditing records management operations Assist with preparation submission grant proposals Report all data collection evaluations fiscal reports HOPE Center Director final approval
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting business/public administration finance accredited college university two years fiscal analysis-related job experience
