    The Quality Assurance Manager oversees the adherence of food products to company, customer, and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

    This role may involve reviewing quality and safety policies and managing audits conducted by third-party inspectors.

    The Manager also facilitates, monitors, and controls plant quality assurance procedures, contributing to the resolution of production issues through appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).


    Job Duties:
    Take necessary action and involve senior management in addressing reportable food safety and quality issues.
    Develop, enhance, and implement food safety and quality system policies and procedures.

    Establish, execute, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Supervise quality personnel and oversee day-to-day plant activities, including scheduling, staffing, and problem-solving.

    Lead HACCP teams to maintain, revise, and improve plans based on industry developments.
    Guide the disposition of non-conforming goods and provide corrective actions for deviations from documented specifications.
    Lead GFSI, customer, or regulatory visits and audits, acting as the liaison for customer inquiries and complaints.
    Manage budgetary goals and ensure departments adhere to approved budgets.


    Qualifications:
    5+ years of progressive experience in quality roles within a food manufacturing environment, with prior management or supervisory experience.
    SQF Practitioner certification.
    Excellent understanding of FDA, GFSI, and FSMA regulations and requirements.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and demonstrated leadership abilities.
    Experience in co-manufacturing and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
    Advanced knowledge of food safety and personal safety policies, with efficient time management and communication skills.
