    This position will determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or the work order.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes

    • Provides professional customer satisfactionTesting pipes to determine whether systems are working accuratelyInterprets and applies mechanical and structural blueprints to plan plumbing repairs and modificationsDetermine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work ordersMaintain accurate records on material and labor usedPerforms job as scheduled and within budgetInspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are cleanRespond to emergency calls as neededPerform preventive maintenance on tools and equipmentOperate tools and equipment according to safety proceduresPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualifications1-3 years' experience working under a Master PlumberTexas State Journeyman or Tradesman License - current and in good standingAbility to diagnose and resolve problemsAbility to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
    Valid Texas State Driver's License with a good driving record.

    Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete company specific safety guidelinesAbility to communicate clearly verbally and in writingMust pass a pre-employment background check/drug screenAbility to competently use a variety of gauges, meters, measuring instruments, piping systems, pumps, hoists, rigging equipment, torches, and hand tools.

    Ability to effectively communicate with the customer.

    Ability to work independently, under pressure and without close supervision; willing and able to consistently work the scheduled required by job demands.

    Work a rotating on call nights and weekends when assignedPhysical Qualifications:

    Ability to stand, walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.

    Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.

    Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following:
    hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas
