- Support the Human Resources team across HR functions and processes.
- Assist with the full life cycle recruitment process.
- Assist with new hire onboarding.
- Complete required employment verifications.
- Track employee completion of employee evaluations.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Experienced with Microsoft Office tools
- Basic understanding of Human Resources laws, principles, and standards
- Top-notch verbal and written communication
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Critical and creative thinking
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, HR experience is a plus.

As the HR Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day functions of the HR department with a focus on recruitment. As one of the first people prospective employees meet at MGE, you will be key in creating a positive experience for candidates and helping attract the best talent possible. The pay range for the HR Assistant in Paso Robles, CA is $25 to $27 hourly.
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on a number of factors, such as experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
