    Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
    Reports To: CFO
    Group: Operations – Finance
    Compensation Range: $49,000 to $78,000 annually

    The Role:

    We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to support the general accounting functions of the organization such as month-end reports, billing, reconciliations, and year end closing for various entities. Lots of variety – you won't be bored

    Key Responsibilities (General accounting functions, month-end reports, billing, and reconciliations.):

    • Analyze and prepare the month end and year end closing for various entities.
    • Reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare the necessary adjustments.
    • Perform bank reconciliation for various bank accounts.
    • Participate in the preparation of annual and retirement audits.
    • Monitor and maintain cash balances for various bank accounts.
    • Participate in the preparation of annual budget.
    • Prepare various government filings.
    • Prepare and calculate annual employee benefits.
    • Update Accounts Receivable.
    • Prepare Balance Sheet and analyze the variance
    • Prepare Income and Expenses Statement and analyze the variance
    • Perform other job duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting
    • 5+ years' experience in accounting
    • 5+ years' experience in General Ledger, month-end closing, and reconciliation
    • 5+ years' experience preparing financial statements
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar software
    • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel including VLOOKUP and MACRO functions, PowerPoint, etc.)
