The Role

We are seeking to hire a key member of the core engineering team, helping us to build our platform from the ground-up.

Responsibilities

As a individual contributor of the software engineering team, your primary responsibilities will be:

Product requirements analysis

Data modeling, service design and software development

Developing automated unit tests for continuous integration

Performing DevOps tasks for continuous delivery

Required Skills and Experience

With 3+ years experience as a software engineer, you need the following skills:

Python as primary programming language

Integration with relational and NoSQL databases

Working with service-oriented and event-driven application architectures

Implementing and consuming HTTP-based service APIs

Agile software development methodology

Ensuring quality through continuous integration technology

Deployment to a cloud computing platform

Debugging and troubleshooting

Desired Experience

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

Asynchronous I/O (especially Python asyncio)

PostgreSQL (including JSON functions and operators)

Amazon Web Services

Serverless computing (especially AWS Lambda)

Salesforce core APIs and data model

OAuth, OpenID Connect and JSON Web Tokens

Implementing GraphQL based service APIs

Mobile application development

JavaScript programming

React web framework

Data lakes or data warehouses

Machine learning
