Job Description
Provide security services support for a large enterprise network of close to 140 sites. Manage major application and site move and build projects in coordination with the team and the project manager.

Assist the Network Analyst with creation of security related reports, setting of network monitor thresholds and general oversight of the network health.

Respond to operational requests day to day and act as the second level of escalation for incident resolution.

Working closely with the Network Architect, review new technologies and standards and assist with the development of SOP's, runbooks, and other Operational resources for the security team.

Report regular status of projects and operational issues to the SDM.

Additional Skills & QualificationsThis Role Performs:

• Analysis, planning, modification and maintenance of the network and security components, including network monitoring systems.
• Management of all security equipment supporting the enterprise for both project and operational requirements.
• Evaluation of new network and security technology
• Analysis of firewall policies and configuration to ensure they are in use, least privilege and satisfy business requirements.
• Review and completion of firewall requests.
• Test network and security systems.
• Monitor and resolve network incidents on a 24X7 basis.
• The position maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and security hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and gateways.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience on network & cyber security.
• If not bachelor's degree, Highschool plus 5 years' experience will suffice.
• PNCSA, Palo Alto Certification.

Strong experience with Cisco Systems network, security, and datacenter products:
o Palo Alto
o Cisco Firepower
o Cisco ASA

• Strong experience with VPN technologies.
• Experience deploying security technologies.
• Experience deploying load balancer and remote access solutions.
• Experience managing large application build and move projects.
• Strong experience with Service and Change Management.

Desired Qualifications


Desired Certifications:
o Palo Alto Certified Systems Engineer, PNCSE.
o Cisco Certified Network Professional Security, CCNP.
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISSP.

• Experience with Cisco ISE, F5 Load Balancer, Zscaler, and Infoblox.
• Ability to present very complex technical concepts in understandable language.
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience creating and presenting project plans and designs.
