Job DescriptionSHR Talent is partnering with a client in the Crossville, TN area in its search for an IT Technician. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. The IT Technician position involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, as well as assisting with IT projects and initiatives. An ideal candidate for the IT Technician role will possess excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Respond to IT support requests from employees in a timely and efficient manner
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations
Assist with the setup and configuration of new IT equipment and software
Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
Provide technical training and support to end-users
Document IT processes and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts
Experience with diagnosing and resolving IT issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional, preferred
