The Assistant Director Nursing is responsible for supporting overall direction coordination and evaluation within areas assigned assisting in managing operations in accordance with hospital administered policies standards of nursing practices and regulatory requirements providing highest level of care for all patients promoting patient family focused care as highest priority strives to meet customer expectations for quality satisfaction as measured by established metrics helps facilitate employee engagement plans using evidence based strategies designed to meet goals set metrics assists providing administrative financial accountability planning directing staffing coordinating controlling functions activities delegating authority necessary develops aligns goals with organizations strategic plans champions ideas add value organization manages meets financial performance targets including revenue performance controls spending departmental budget prepares monitors budget accordance anticipated needs organization uses budget financial tools measure performance oversees efficient staffing daily basis understands regulatory compliance issues affect system department OSHA DCF TJC EEOC CDC ACHA etc ensures departments personnel maintain compliance times.
