Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services, the Sonographer is responsible for operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment in a safe manner while exercising independent judgment in order to obtain diagnostic images on patients of all ages for subsequent evaluation by a qualified physician.
Minimum Education:
Must have completed an Ultrasound Academic Program.
Minimum Experience/Skills: 1+ years experience as an Sonographer is preferred.

Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform duties.
Working Conditions:
Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases, subject to varying and unpredictable situations, exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness), emergency and crisis situations.
Subject to irregular hours, increased stress due to multiple calls and inquiries, occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances and biohazard material.
Pay Range:
$ $63.00
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience
