    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment at a hospital OT department in Georgia.

    Responsibilities
    8-hour day shift, scheduled 8:30am–4:30pm5 shifts per week13-week contractAcute care OT department supporting patients from physician orders throughout the hospitalPatient population includes ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedic, and general debility cases


    EMR:
    Cerner (OneChart)4 weekend shifts per 4-week period requiredHoliday coverage requiredProvides occupational therapy services across a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses throughout an acute care hospital settingFormer permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligibleAny requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests after an offer has been made are not acceptedCerner (OneChart) EMR experience is utilized in this role

    Requirements
    Active Georgia OT license required if applicableMinimum 2 years of OT experience in acute careCurrent BLS certification (AHA) requiredDriver's License requiredCandidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
