- Develop pro forma income statements using historical financial data from acquisition targets
- Build and maintain financial models to determine valuations and assess returns on potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships
- Apply valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions
- Support comprehensive financial, operational, and commercial due diligence for potential acquisitions
- Coordinate data requests, track diligence materials, and monitor project timelines
- Partner with internal teams (legal, accounting, operations) and external advisors to identify risks and opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination through diligence and post-close integration activities
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition targets
- Monitor transaction announcements and industry developments to inform M&A strategy
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts
- Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for senior leadership, executive teams, and board meetings
- Track performance of existing acquisitions, investments, and partnerships
- Manage the M&A pipeline and deliver regular updates to internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, transaction services, or strategic finance
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and experience building presentation materials in PowerPoint
- Familiarity with the M&A deal process from sourcing through closing
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets and identify key trends, KPIs, and potential risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior executives
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

About the Role
