Strategy and Transactions – EY-Parthenon – Transaction Strategy and Execution – Health - Director

Competitive business today is all about making intelligent, informed decisions. As a Director within EY-Parthenon you will help make that happen. You will be an important part of our diversely talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions. The EY-Parthenon sub-service line comprises four competencies: Strategy Realized; Transaction Strategy and Execution; Private Equity and Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy. EY-Parthenon – Transaction Strategy and Execution has a market-leading proposition to create and maximize value for our clients, whether they are acquiring assets, divesting assets, creating partnerships, or undertaking operational restructuring.

    The opportunity

Transaction Strategy and Execution works on the most complex and high-profile national and global transactions, across a broad portfolio of clients and industry sectors. We are a group of experienced industry professionals with a background in operations who are serial transaction advisers, which enables us to bring a wealth of deep sector and functional knowledge to our clients. As a team, we prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people.

    Your key responsibilities

As a Director in Transaction Strategy and Execution - Health, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing projects focused on transaction strategy, transaction execution and partnership development, all occurring within the Health sector. This includes work with health systems, payer organizations, health care services organizations, large companies with specific needs in health care, health-focused government entities and other organizations with needs specific to the strategy or execution of organic and inorganic health care programs. Your role will also involve developing experience across the M&A lifecycle including pre-sign, sign-to-close and post-closing. Having a commercial mind-set is key to this consulting-based role. We value both experiences across the merger lifecycle and within the health care industry with a candidate having a strong desire to help healthcare clients on a range of challenging and greenfield engagements: partnership strategy and selection, board facilitation, Day 1/Day 100 planning, post-merger integration synergies and carve-outs / activations. Individuals with an interest in joining the Transaction Strategy and Execution - Health practice ideally have years of consulting experience, an ability to facilitate difficult conversations with junior and senior executives and Boards and deep knowledge regarding transactions involving clients who have a current health care capability or are looking to grow, partner or acquire one.
