    Job Title: Certified Trauma Registrar

    Job Description:

    Summary:
    The Certified Trauma Registrar will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and comprehensive trauma registry data for a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position requires experience with EPIC EMR and NTRACs Trauma Registry, as well as remote work experience.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Collect, analyze, and accurately abstract data related to trauma patients using EPIC EMR and NTRACs Trauma Registry.
    2. Ensure compliance with state and national reporting requirements, including Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) standards.
    3. Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information for trauma registry documentation.
    4. Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and completeness.
    5. Generate reports and analyze trends in trauma data to support quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
    6. Stay current on trauma registry updates, coding guidelines, and best practices in trauma data management.
    7. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

    Qualifications:

    1. Certified Trauma Registrar (CTR) certification required.
    2. Minimum of two years of experience working as a Trauma Registrar in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
    3. Proficiency in EPIC EMR and NTRACs Trauma Registry software.
    4. Experience working in a remote position preferred.
    5. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data abstraction and documentation.
    6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    7. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams.
