    Description

    The North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA) is a member-based, for-profit association supporting the light-to-medium-duty trailer industry. NATDA hosts two annual events, The NATDA Trailer Show and The Trailer Tech Expo Powered by NATDA; a year-round virtual education program, a bi-monthly magazine and a variety of member benefits.

    The Marketing Communications Manager will manage regular association digital communications, maintain association communications platforms and work the Director of Marketing to execute the strategy and tactics to drive membership and event registration, support revenue goals, and build a deeper sense of community and loyalty among NATDA membership.

    The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with all members of the NATDA team to support and promote individual initiatives and the organization as a whole in alignment with the NATDA strategic plan. We're looking for a highly motivated team player who is able to take direction and work independently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage editorial content and advertising traffic for the association's bi-monthly magazine to ensure timely delivery of both print and digital versions. Oversee mailing lists and reporting.
    • Manage publishing calendar and execute bi-weekly digital newsletters, monthly member communications and email campaigns (based on association and event marketing plans) to ensure coordinated messaging and campaigns across channels.
    • Manage, measure, and optimize the performance of digital marketing and social campaigns. Maintain and assess performance of digital marketing platforms.
    • Manage the association website to keep the content up to date for the NATDA community. Optimize content for visibility, address reported issues, test new pages and make suggestions for a better user experience and manage association chat feature via Meta.
    • Develop, maintain, share and execute social media calendar and tactical plan to grow channel engagement with audiences.
    • Act as a single point of contact with association sponsors and coordinate with marketing, operations and sales to ensure that all sponsorship deliverables are executed throughout the sponsorship year.
    • Oversee projects with third-party vendors to ensure timely execution of deliverables as needed.
    • Work with the Director of Marketing and Director of Membership to manage benefit communications and curate guest author content from our benefit partners.
    • Maintain our show apps during trade event cycles.
    • Assist in the creation of video content (reels, tutorials, etc.)
    • Maintain an archive of marketing assets, content campaigns, editorial content.

    Required skills and qualifications:

    • BA in Marketing/Communications or related field
    • 5 years' relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, or both
    • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and within a team.
    • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
    • Experience in project management.
    • A great eye for design and ability to champion brand standards.
    • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent copy writing and proofreading skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent customer service skills

    Preferred skills and qualifications:

    • Tradeshow experience a plus
    • Graphic design experience
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience with Mail Chimp, Photoshop, Meta, Canva, and Hootsuite. Experience in MediaOS , Map Your Show, OpusPro and Vimeo a plus, but not necessary.

    This position will require travel, at least twice a year, for both of NATDA's annual events.

    NATDA is owned by Trifecta Collective LLC and is supported by a small, but mighty team. Team members work together on the association's mission to provide the best possible benefits to its members. This position's salary will begin at $58k with incentives. A generous PTO and benefit plan, including 401k are available to its employees. The NATDA office is based in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a remote position with several in-person meetings throughout the year in St. Petersburg. Qualified candidates local to the Tampa Bay area may be considered first.
