Do you have a passion for decreasing electronic waste?Do you have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment?
HiTECH Assets is looking for an energetic team player to join us as a Material Handler and work in our warehouse.
- Minimum 1-3 years' work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility;
- Unpack and assess incoming assets for possible resale or recycling, and move assets through our production process with both care and speed;
- Engage in inventory activities, labeling assets, and related record-keeping in ensure that maintain accurate records of assets in production;
- Regularly lift, push, carry, and otherwise manipulate assets weighing 25-50 pounds throughout the workday, and must stand, bend, and walk for up to 8 hours at a time;
- Read, write, and spell in English, plus communicate and work well with a variety of people using positive, 'can do' attitude;
- Work efficiently with computers and basic hand tools, past experience forklift or heavy machinery operation a plus;
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; and
- Interest in ITAD, sustainability, and reduction of electronic waste preferred.
