The Lead Communications officer is the direct supervisor for Campus Security and Public Safety Communications officers.

Required to supervise, assign, train, review, and participate in the work of direct reports for processing emergency, non-emergency and administrative calls for security officers, emergency providers, and the general public.

This position ensures adherence to established goals, policies and procedures.

The Lead Communications Officer is required to have full working knowledge and capabilities of all aspects of communications, dispatching, and camera surveillance, including all systems used by Communications officers.

This position supports the University's mission by providing the community with sources needed for a safe learning, working, and living experience.

The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $44218-$56160.
