    As a NEPA Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of projects related to environmental assessments, impact statements, and compliance with NEPA regulations. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage the development and implementation of NEPA compliance strategies for a variety of projects.
    • Conduct thorough environmental assessments and impact analyses in accordance with NEPA regulations.
    • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Prepare and review NEPA documentation, including environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, and categorical exclusions.
    • Oversee the preparation of technical reports, maps, and other project deliverables.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients on NEPA compliance issues.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Review and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Manage subcontractors and consultants involved in NEPA-related projects.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on NEPA-related matters.
    • Stay current on changes to NEPA regulations and best practices in environmental assessment and compliance.
    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
    • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in environmental planning, with a focus on NEPA compliance.
    • Strong understanding of NEPA regulations and requirements.
    • Experience managing NEPA projects from initiation through completion.
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
    • Professional certifications (e.g. PE, AICP, PMP) are a plus.
    • Proficiency in GIS software and other relevant technical tools is preferred.
