    Job Description Summary:

    Supports both inpatient pharmacy and medication history work with opportunities for growth and development.
    Inpatient work includes interpreting, obtaining, preparing/compounding, labeling, and distributing pharmacy products while considering patient age information.Documentation of distributed medication ensures proper use and reimbursement.May also prepare IV medications using special equipment supplies and techniques for patient administration.Processes refill requests for non-monitored pharmacy medication such as enteral products/supplies or respiratory medications.Responsible for production packaging record keeping stocking tasks.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma GED foreign school diploma equivalent requiredIndividual must be at least 18 years oldRequired registration as Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with Ohio Board of PharmacyMust have high school level skills good communication skillsAbility to gather interpret data Ability to exchange information explain instructions procedures.Work requires existing procedures instruction results expected due dates general procedure follows.Requires knowledge compounding hospital pharmacy operations medical terminology various drug namesTrade generic.Detailed oriented Works well interdisciplinary team Adaptable
