    Job Description

    As the Manager, Strategic Planning you will contribute to the assigned brands' overall strategic communication direction.

    Our clients are two national restaurant brands with a combined 2,700+ locations and are known for their menu's flavorful fusion of choices and late night drive-thru service.

    You will report into the Senior Director, Strategy and working with the Communications Planning team, to contribute to research and insights.

    This is a hybrid opportunity based in Los Angeles, CA. To be successful in this role, it is important that you are, curious, creative, analytical, and a team player. Your collaboration will help inform the media strategy and how the strategy will come to life in media.

    Managers must exhibit an understanding of consumer, category and cultural trends related to their brand to help inform the media strategy.


    Responsibilities:
    Support daily strategic work for client(s)
    Work with Insights team to develop consumer profiles and consumer insights/media consumption behaviors
    Translate data into meaningful insights that unlock deeper consumer understanding
    Stay on the pulse of category, media and cultural trends, keeping clients and agency partners abreast of important insights
    Contribute to the communications strategy and framework to for annual strategy and long term objective strategies to guide media planning choices
    Partner with our teams, media vendors and creative agency on strategic media opportunities and implementation of strategies
    Participate in multi-functional brainstorms for big idea generation
    Monitor competitive activity to identify unique ownable opportunities that break category norms
    Qualifications

    3+ years of media experience, with a record of achievement and influence
    Knowledge of integrated media planning and media/communications strategy
    Understanding of multiple communications channels and their role in brand marketing
    Generate creative ideas and support insights with evidence
    Can work collaboratively across teams and organizations.
    Familiarity with research tools and how to translate data into insights in a compelling way

    Additional Information

    The anticipated salary range for this position is $66,560-$96,025. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
