    We seek an AMS Manager (Applications Managed Services) with specialized experience in SAP ECC and SAP Boundary Applications to oversee our application management services and manage our relationship with an outsourcing service provider and our internal Team. This contractor position is critical in ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our SAP and SAP Boundary application ecosystem, both SAAS and on-premises solutions, in alignment with our Managed Services Support Agreement. The ideal candidate will ensure that our SAP and SAP Boundary applications are optimized to support business objectives, collaborating closely with the outsourcing partner and internal resources to guarantee high service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • SAP Ecosystem Management:
    • Oversee the management of SAP ECC and all SAP Boundary Applications, ensuring they are aligned with business processes and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the outsourcing partner to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of all SAP and SAP related Boundary Applications.
    • Lead the planning and implementation of SAP and SAP related Boundary System upgrades, patches and enhancements in coordination with the outsourcing provider.
    • Service and Outsourcing Partner Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the outsourcing service provider for all matters related to SAP Application Management
    • Monitor the outsourcing partners adherence to SLAs and KPIs, particularly those related to SAP and SAP related Boundary applications and address any service delivery issues.
    • Provide regular review and report results to SAP Leader to ensure they meet evolving business needs and provide inputs for leveraging opportunities for service optimization.
    • Strategic Advisory:
    • Provide strategic guidance on the use of SAP and SAP related Boundary applications to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and the outsourcing partner to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the SAP and SAP related Boundary applications ecosystem.
    • Ensure the SAP and SAP related Boundary application strategies are aligned with the overall IT and business strategies.
    • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance across all SAP applications including Boundary Applications
    • Coordinate with the outsourcing partner to manage risks associated with the SAP and SAP related Boundary applications ecosystem, including data security and system integrity.
    • Facilitate regular audits and compliance checks to maintain high standards of governance and control.
    • Incident, Problem, and Change Management:
    • Oversee the resolution of incidents and problems related to SAP and SAP related Boundary applications, ensuring minimal business disruption.
    • Lead change management initiatives for SAP and SAP related Boundary applications, coordinating with the outsourcing partner to ensure smooth and effective implementation.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture learnings and continuously improve the SAP application management process including all SAP Boundary applications.

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing SAP environments, including SAP ECC and various SAP Boundary Applications.

    Demonstrated experience in managing IT services through outsourcing partners, with a strong understanding of managed services agreements.

    Proficient in SAP and SAP Boundary application landscape, including both SAAS and on-premises solutions.

    Familiarity with ITIL and similar IT service management frameworks, with certifications being a plus.

    Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment:

    Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

    Pay Range: $122,145-$179,146.

    This base salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
