Our Client is looking for a skilled Auto Body Painter to join their team. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to restore them to their original state before accidents. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of automotive painting techniques, a sharp eye for color and detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
  
• Mix paint to match the original color and texture of the vehicle
  
• Apply paint using various techniques, ensuring even coverage with the correct thickness
  
• Follow manufacturer's paint application and curing guidelines
  
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality control
  
• Clean and maintain painting equipment
  
• Maintain a tidy work area and handle hazardous materials properly
  
• Adhere to safety protocols for a secure work environment
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body painting
  
• Proficient in automotive painting techniques
  
• Color perception and attention to detail
  
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Valid driver's license
  

Certifications:

• ASE certification in painting and refinishing is a plus
  
• I-CAR certification in Painting is preferred
  
• Paint manufacturer certification(s) preferred
  
• Ability to spray waterborne and solvent paint preferred
