    Description

    Job Title: Systems Administrator

    Location: Lancaster SC

    Role Description:

    • Administer and maintain systems support for software, hardware, and servers: test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve all related problems
    • Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems
    • Utilize best-in-class security protocols to protect existing and new infrastructure systems
    • Perform systems administration functions for Windows AD Infrastructure, Office 365, software updates and patches, anti-virus, local company systems, cloud hosted company systems and backups

    Requirements:

    • Working knowledge of networking concepts, Routing / Switching, Operating Systems technologies, cybersecurity technologies, IP, Advanced Protocols, LAN and WAN
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server versions 2012 to most recent, Microsoft Active Directory, and O365/Exchange
    • Working knowledge of server and desktop / laptop operating systems - such as Windows Server 2012 to 2022, and desktop / laptop operating systems such as Windows 10 and 11
    • VMware 6.5+ experience configuring and managing virtual servers
    • Associate degree in Computer Science (BS preferred) and/or equivalent technical certification with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven System Administrator experience
    • Industry-recognized technical certification such as a Microsoft MCSE, Network+, Server+ or A+ preferred but not required
    • Working technical knowledge and experience with LAN, WAN
    • Working technical knowledge and experience with Windows desktop and laptop operating systems
    • Working technical knowledge and experience with Windows Server operating systems and associated services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, AD Admin Tools)
    • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including hardware RAID, Active Directory, and TCP/IP
