    Job Summary



    Adjunct instructor teaching for nursing clinical in one or more specialty settings for the Post-Baccalaureate BSN program. Teaching opportunities in pediatrics, adult medical-surgical and
    public health are available for Spring 2024. Teaching opportunities in mental health and fundamentals/TCU are available for Summer 2024.





    Responsibilities

      Teaching in clinical settings, specifically pediatrics, adult medical-surgical, public health, mental health, fundamentals, and/ or other specialty settings as qualified.
    • Opportunities for teaching in the nursing skills and simulation labs are available.
    • Evaluation of students in clinical settings, including assignment grading.
    • Collaborate with a teaching team within the course.

    Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in primary specialty is necessary; clinical experience in an additional nursing specialty is welcome.
    • Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting primary specialty is necessary; or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset.




    Education



    A bachelor's degree in nursing is required; master's degree is preferred. A clinical focus with recent practice in specialty setting is necessary. Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility
    required.





    Additional Information



    This position is available starting January 8, 2024. Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
