    Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth

    Are you passionate about teaching and working with children? Do you enjoy sports, fitness, and personal nutrition/health? If so, we encourage you to apply for our Youth Coach position at Amazing Athletes of Knoxville. As a brand-new company, you will have the opportunity to be part of our team from the ground up.

    We are currently seeking part-time coaches who can work 8-15 hours per week in the mornings (8:30am-11:30am, M-F) and/or afternoons (1pm-5:30pm, M-F).

    Purpose and Mission


    Our youth sports enrichment program focuses on teaching kids ages 18 months to 12 years old the basics of various sports and activities, including nutrition, muscle identification, and motor skills development. We provide excellent training to ensure our coaches are equipped to deliver high-quality lessons.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Learn and teach weekly lesson plans in a positive, energetic environment to kids aged 18 months to 12 years.
    • Interact with parents, teachers, directors, and children daily and effectively communicate class descriptions.
    • Track attendance, record child progress, and maintain positive relationships with everyone.
    • Ensure participant safety and have a fun experience.
    • Travel to local childcare centers, preschools, and schools to lead classes.
    • This is a part-time position requiring availability during specified hours (8:30am-11:30am, M-F, or 1pm-5:30pm, M-F).
    • Reliability, consistency, self-motivation, and independent work are essential when working with young children.

    Requirements

    • A passion for making a difference in children's lives.
      • An outgoing, fun, and energetic personality.
      • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to local schools with reliable transportation.
      • At least 18 years of age.
      • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
      • Candidates must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods, often outdoors, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
