    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.


    Pharmacy Technician (13-Week Contract)

    Location:
    Sharpsburg, PA

    Shift Schedule:

    Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am - 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday; Saturday: 8 am to 6 pm; Sunday: 9 am to 5 pm.

    Weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend.


    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Perform medication inventory management and restocking.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
    • Assist pharmacists with various administrative tasks as needed.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Operate computer systems such as Docutrack and Frameworks to process prescriptions and manage pharmacy records.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
    • Longterm care (LTC) pharmacy experience is preferred.
    • Completion of a Pharmacy Technician certification program is advantageous.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in using pharmacy management software, including Docutrack and Frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
