Textile Weaver $19/hr (DIRECT HIRE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS) This is a direct hire role through R&R Resolute Staffing.

Position: Weaver Department: Weaving (DIRECT HIRE)

Starting pay: Weaver – $1 per hour shift premium for those not working 1st shift.

(Application and processing done at Greenville office - Work is for a large plant in Anderson SC)

If you are seeking a full time/DIRECT HIRE opportunity. We have 8hr shifts available for 2nd and 3rd shift.

• 2nd shift schedule Monday - Friday 3 or 4pm to 11pm or 12am (8hr shifts). Weekend help as needed.

• 3rd shift is the same but going in at 11pm or 12am and getting off 8 hours later.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of weaving machines. The weaving process interlaces two yarns of similar materials so that they cross each other at right angles to produce woven fabric. The warp yarns run lengthwise in the fabric and the filling yarns run from side to side.

Main Responsibilities include

1. Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates

2. Immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition

3. Immediately report any work-related injury to your supervisor

4. Repairs end breaks

5. Lift, insert, and splice filling yarn packages as necessary to maintain machine operations

6. Patrol/cycle machine set for fabric defects and initiate necessary corrective action to repair/correct defect. This requires the ability to stand and walk for the majority of 8 consecutive hours including stepping from the floor up to the weaving platform and back down to the floor up to 28 times per hour.

7. Flag machines as necessary which require attention from the technical team

(Observation, Reading for Information, Locating Information, Communication, Teamwork)

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing environment
