Job description
Stella's is looking for a friendly, reliable Seasonal Bartender to join our team on the Regent Street outdoor patio. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while creating a welcoming experience for guests. Must have a valid, up to date Wisconsin bartender license and have proof of completed beverage server training courses in order to apply or be considered for this position.
Season:
- May 1st through the end of patio season (weather-dependent)
Schedule:
- Thursday–Sunday
- Must be available to work all scheduled weekend shifts
Compensation:
- $18–$22 per hour, based on experience, plus tips
Responsibilities:
- Serve beer and wine to guests in accordance with alcohol service laws
- Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Check IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with the Stella's team to create a great guest experience
Qualifications:
- Must meet local legal requirements to serve alcohol
- Prior bartending or alcohol service experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and stay on your feet for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts consistently
- Responsible beverage server certification (or willingness to obtain)
