- Inpatient 7 day/week coverage, 4/10 hr, 5/ 6-8hr (Sun-Weds or Weds-Sat)
- Requires a bachelor's or master's degree and is certified as a physical therapist.
- Licensed in the state of Florida.
- Preferred experiences in Adult & geriatric care. Setting to include inpatient acute care and/or outpatient.
- Evaluating/assessing needs of referred patients and formulating treatment plans.
- Provide therapy services defined in treatment plans.
- Work cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and adjustors.
- May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers.
- Typically reports to a manager.

A Staff Physical Therapist evaluates patients, then using sound judgment and psychological sensitivity, plans and implements an effective, individualized physical therapy program based upon the physical assessment of the patient and their post-discharge needs.
The Staff Physical Therapist maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for their professional growth and development.
In addition, the Staff Physical Therapist adheres to all of the policies, procedures and objectives of Lower Keys Medical Center and the Rehabilitation Services Department.
